On May 25 Hugo Calderano and TTF Liebherr Ochsenhausen face 1. FC Saarbrücken TT in the final for the German championship. In the league, Ochsenhausen had to suffer a 0-3 defeat against Patrick Franziska and Co. But the 22-year-old does not worry about that.

On May 25 you face Saarbrücken in the TTBL final. Last year against Düsseldorf you were the underdog, this time against Saarbrücken many see you as the favourite. How do you see your chances to win the double?

Hugo Calderano: I’m very confident on our team. We are having a great season and we’ll be prepared for the final. Saarbrücken is a very strong and young team and I know it will be tough to beat them.

Whereas Saarbrücken will be playing the ETTU Cup final, your team can fully concentrate on the TTBL final. Do you think this can be an advantage on May 25?

Calderano: I think it’s a small advantage to focus only in the Bundesliga final for some weeks and to be able to prepare well for the match.

In the league Ochsenhausen lost the last match against Saarbrücken 0-3. What do you have to do better to win the title on May 25?

Calderano: We won’t think so much about our defeat against Saarbrücken. The final is a new game and we have to focus to get there on our best possible shapes to fight for the title.

Hugo, thanks for the interview!
