TTCLM semifinal: Düsseldorf wins first leg in Saarbrücken
Borussia Düsseldorf won the semifinal first leg in the Champions League (TTCLM) with 3-0 at 1. FC Saarbrücken TT and thus took the first step towards renewed participation in the final. Dang Qiu laid the foundation for the clear success with a 3-2 win against Patrick Franziska, Anton Källberg and Timo Boll got the next points. In the second leg on March 3, the reigning champion now need at least a 2-3 to reach the final.

TTCLM: Düsseldorf and Saarbrücken reach the semi-final
Last year's finalists Borussia Düsseldorf and 1. FC Saarbrücken TT have reached the semi-final of the Table Tennis Champions League (TTCLM): Düsseldorf beat KS Dekorglass Dzialdowo 3-0 and 3-2 respectively in the first and second leg, Saarbrücken beat GV Hennebont TT with the same results. The two TTBL teams will now meet in the semi-final. TTC Neu-Ulm, on the other hand, was eliminated with two 0-3 defeats against TTSC UMMC Jekaterinburg.

TTCLM: Quarter-final matches drawn
The quarter-final matches of the Champions League (TTCLM) have been drawn on Saturday: While TTC Neu-Ulm will meet TTSC UMMC Jekaterinburg, Borussia Düsseldorf and 1. FC Saarbrücken TT will play against teams they already met last season.

TTCLM: Three TTBL teams enter the quarterfinals
With last year's finalists Borussia Düsseldorf and 1. FC Saarbrücken TT as well as TTC Neu-Ulm, all three teams of the TTBL have made it to the quarterfinals of the Champions League (TTCLM). While Düsseldorf and Saarbrücken each won their groups in commanding fashion, Neu-Ulm was only beaten by Fakel Gazprom Orenburg – and only narrowly missed the sensation with a 2-3 against the Russian top club. The quarterfinals will be played between January 12 and 23.

12th title: Düsseldorf wins the Champions League
Borussia Düsseldorf has conquered the Champions League (TTCLM) for the twelfth time. Düsseldorf succeeded in the encounter against the fellow TTBL team 1. FC Saarbrücken TT with a 3-1-win on Friday night.
